Rules & Regulations
1. Booking and Reservations:
1.1. All bookings must be made in advance via the BMC Reading Rooms booking system. Walk-in users will be subject to availability.
1.2. Bookings should be made at least 48 hours in advance. Same-day bookings may be accepted depending on availability.
1.3. Cancellations made 48 hours in advance will be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a cancellation fee.
1.4. A valid payment receipt and booking confirmation email must be presented before accessing the rehearsal hall.
2. Usage Guidelines:
2.1. BMC Reading Rooms are intended for reading, studying, research, and self-learning only. Group discussions or meetings may be allowed if pre-approved by management.
2.2. Users must ensure that the reading space is kept clean. Books, newspapers, and magazines should be handled with care.
2.3. No food or beverages are allowed in the reading rooms, unless permitted for special events.
2.4. Users must maintain silence while in the reading room to ensure a peaceful and productive environment.
3. Safety Regulations:
3.1. Users are responsible for their personal belongings. BMC Reading Rooms is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property.
3.2. In case of emergencies, users must follow all emergency evacuation protocols and exit the premises calmly and safely.
3.3. Smoking, alcohol consumption, and the use of electronic devices that disrupt other users are prohibited within the reading rooms.
4. Code of Conduct:
4.1. Users must respect other readers, staff, and the facility. Disruptive behavior will result in immediate expulsion from the premises.
4.2. No Photography: Unauthorized photography and videography are not allowed in the reading rooms.
4.3. Proper Attire: Users must wear appropriate clothing. No loud or inappropriate attire will be allowed.
5. Grievances and Complaints:
5.1. Any complaints or issues regarding the facilities, staff, or other users should be immediately reported to the BMC Reading Room Manager.
5.2. If a complaint remains unresolved, it may be escalated to the BMC Facility Officer for further review.
6. Amendments:
6.1. BMC Reading Rooms reserves the right to amend these rules and regulations at any time. All changes will be communicated to users via posted notices or email.
